The Burnsville Lake new office addition was used to host a joint first aid and CPR training for 18 staff members from both Burnsville and Sutton Lakes and 5 volunteers. The training covered: the ABC’s of CPR, what to do for a serious illness, how to protect yourself, what to do in the event of an allergic reaction, hands on CPR and much more! The class was taught by Rebecca Rowsey, a contracted nurse for the Huntington District US Army Corps of Engineers, she has over 20 years of experience.
This training will help prepare us to better serve the campers and guest at both lakes.
