In light of all the recent concerns with COVID-19, the good news is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers continues to provide recreational opportunities for the public. Outdoor venues including boat ramps, trails, and fishing access sites will remain open at this time. However, in the interest of public safety, some facilities such as visitor centers, playgrounds, and restrooms will be closed until further notice.

The applicant has requested authorization for the proposed discharge of temporary dredged and/or fill material into Big Walnut Creek and wetland and the permanent dredged and/or fill material into Big Walnut Creek associated with the rehabilitation of the existing intake structure, a low head dam, and a boat ramp at the Hap Cremean Water Plant.
