Pleasant Hill Dam to Host Public Tours

HUNTINGTON, W.Va – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will be offering public tours of Pleasant Hill Dam at 1041 County Road 3006 in Perrysville, Ohio, on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2018, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is part of the Ohio Open Doors week put on by the Ohio History Connection.

All adults must show a government-provided photo ID (such as a Driver’s License) in order to participate in a tour. Cameras and bags are not permitted in the dam, and all children must be accompanied by an adult.

Tours will leave every half-hour and include a look inside the intake structure. Those interested should meet at the red U.S. Army Corps of Engineers tent.
