Kid’s Fishing Day to be held at Yatesville Lake

Huntington, W.Va. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will hold its 5th Annual Kids Fishing Day at Yatesville Lake State Park Marina from 9 a.m.to noon on Saturday, June 1, 2013. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m.

Prizes will be awarded for the most fish caught and the biggest fish caught based on three age divisions. Participants can bring their own fishing pole, or fishing poles and bait will be available for use. A free lunch will be provided by local sponsors.

 

Any child through age 16 is eligible to participate in this event. Children are required to be under the supervision of a parent or guardian for the duration of the event.
