PR14-001 VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE AT USACE EAST LYNN LAKE

EAST LYNN, W.Va. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers East Lynn Lake has volunteer opportunities for you during the upcoming recreation season: May through mid-October 2014.
Volunteers must be able to perform physical work duties in an outdoor environment and will be required to perform light maintenance duties which may include light carpentry work, painting, staining; maintenance of nature trails, restroom cleanings, grass mowing, trimming and landscaping, litter pick up throughout the park, debris collection along the shoreline, and other light maintenance duties.
Volunteers may be provided a designated, electric and water hook-up campsite in exchange for 25 hours of volunteer work per week. A volunteer application must be filled out if you are interested in obtaining a campsite in exchange for volunteer work.
