R.D. Bailey Lake to Host Wyoming County Water Festival

 Huntington, W.Va. - The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers at R.D. Bailey Lake in Wyoming County, W.Va., will again host the annual county-wide Water Festival on Friday, Sept. 25, 2015, at the lake’s Visitor Center.

The event is in its 5th year and is offered to 5th grade students from around Wyoming County.

The students will be able to learn about water resources, natural resources, careers and opportunities in the area. Presenters will represent a number of agencies, including the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, National Park Service, West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Southern Conservation District, Concord University, Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College, Wyoming County CVB, and Fish & Wildlife, to name a few.
