HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Bakers Run Campground at Sutton Lake in Sutton, W.Va., reopened today for the first time since high water covered it on June 23, 2016.
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers employees and volunteers at Sutton have been working to clear away the mud and debris that covered the site.
Most sites are now open for camping, but some sites are still unavailable for use until they dry out or, in some cases, until grass is replanted.
