    HUNTINGTON, W.VA. - The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will delay the drawdown at Dillon Dam in Zanesville, Ohio, until Nov. 16, 2016.

    HUNTINGTON, W.VA. - The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will conduct non-destructive testing at Greenup Locks and Dam over the next three months as part of routine maintenance. This testing will require the occasional closure of the eastbound lane of Kentucky Route 10/Ohio State Route 253 on the Jesse Stuart Memorial Bridge for approximately 12 weeks beginning Monday, Nov. 1, 2016.

  • Corps of Engineers waives fees on National Public Lands Day, Sept. 24

    Huntington, W.Va. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) will waive day use fees normally charged at boat launch ramps and swimming beaches at its recreation areas in recognition of National Public Lands Day on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016. The waiver does not apply to camping and camping-related services, or fees for specialized facilities such as group picnic shelters. Other agencies and partners that manage recreation areas located on USACE lands are encouraged, but not required, to comply with this waiver of day use fees in the areas they manage.
  • East Lynn Lake Looking for Volunteers for National Public Lands Day

    HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – East Lynn Lake in East Lynn, W.Va., is looking for volunteers to assist U.S. Army Corps of Engineers employees clean up and conduct maintenance work at the lake Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Activities include trash pickup, hiking trail and recreation area maintenance. It’s part of the observance of National Public Lands Day.
