    HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - The Huntington District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has assembled field assessment teams tasked with evaluating existing facilities for the possible conversion into alternate-care-sites in West Virginia. 
  • Greenup Locks Recreation Area Closed During Construction

    HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The recreation area at the Greenup Locks and Dam in Greenup, Ky., has been closed to the public because of construction on the access road to the parking lot.
  • Corps of Engineers Outdoor Venues Are Open to Public

    HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - In light of all the recent concerns with COVID-19, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Huntington District, announced it will continue to provide recreational opportunities for the public. Outdoor venues at Corps lakes, including boat ramps, trails, and fishing access sites will remain open at this time. Fishing access sites at Locks and Dams will also be open.
