New Administrative Contracting Officer

Peter “Tod” Smyrichinsky from the Construction Management Branch of the Huntington District’s Engineering and Construction Division has been appointed (Administrative) Contracting Officer for the United States of America with a warrant of $500,000. Through hard work and dedication, he completed all courses and requirements for the Level 1 and Level 2 Contracting Certification in 7 months. He is currently serving as the Resident Engineer for the Muskingum Resident Office. He holds Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Science and Master’s Degree in Engineering Science from the University of Louisville. He has completed The Graduate Certificate of Construction Management from Auburn University, while continuing post-baccalaureate studies at there. "Tod is a great example of our folks taking the initiative to improve themselves," said Colonel Secrist.
