The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Headquarters and every district in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' Great Lakes and Ohio River Division received "Best Place to Work in USACE Award" certificates at a conference in Pittsburgh, Pa.

Employee engagement was measured earlier in 2017 through the Federal Employment Viewpoint Survey, which is contained in the USACE Campaign Plan through employee engagement, diversity, and innovation. USACE organizations rated highly by their employees surpassing an identified standard of 70 percent were selected as USACE Best Places to Work.

Acting LRD Commander Col. Paul Kremer accepted the award on behalf of the division. Each district commander also accepted their awards on behalf of their districts.
