Task Force Power QA of the Week

Task Force Power's Ceiba Area Office in Puerto Rico has recognized Anthony Huffman, Lock and Dam Operator from our Operations and Readiness Division, Racine, as its Ceiba Area Office's "QA of the Week" for the period 7-13 January 2018. Anthony serves as an Emergency Power QA (Quality Assurance) Representative.

His citation reads

"Anthony Huffman – Task Force Power – Ceiba Resident Office - QA of the Week

Mr. Huffman has been awarded the QA of the Week which is based on the following criterion with no special order:

 •Consistent reporting with minimal or no errors

•Avoiding or preventing site issues

•Provides quality pictures consistently

•Performs Labor interviews

•Goes the extra mile

He consistently provides a willing disposition and cooperative attitude to work.  He provides accurate daily reports and documentation. He also goes the extra mile to make sure not only his tasks are performed, but gladly assists others needing help or guidance.  Through his tireless efforts, he is helping to provide a valuable contribution to our Mission."

This reflects great credit upon himself and the Huntington District.  He was also presented with a Starbucks gift card for his efforts.

Anthony performs a variety of duties in support of emergency power mission requirements, including, but not limited to: assisting the Logistics Team Member (LTM) and/or Quality Assurance Supervisor (QAS) performing daily inventories of ACI resources deployed to support the mission, generators/BOM in FEMA/USACE inventory, performing daily QA checks on deployed generators, and providing written daily QA reports to the LTM/QAS on same. While performing those duties, Anthony conducts a variety of verbal communications with ACI, FEMA, and deployed generator facility points-of-contact (POCs).
