Marshall University hosted Engineer's Day at the Student Union on February 21, 2018. The event kicked off with a speech from U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Huntington District's Commander, Colonel Philip M. Secrist III.

Marshall University hosted Engineer's Day at the Student Union on February 21, 2018. The event kicked off with a speech from U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Huntington District's Commander, Colonel Philip M. Secrist III. Huntington District participated in the event by demonstrating the Watershed Model for the students in attendance. The Watershed model was demonstrated by Ken Woodard. The event was sponsored by the Huntington Chapter of SAME with the goal of inspiring students to look into careers in engineering.
