7th Annual Water Safety Fireworks Display at Fishtrap Lake

The Corps water safety booth was manned by Brett Salyers, Travis Coleman, Magan Boyd, Glenda Robinson and Heather Coleman. It delivered a safe boating / water safety message that included placing life vests on adults and kids alike, illustrating the purpose, proper size / fit, and how to wear the life vest. Water safety information was given to most in attendance. Fireworks were displayed off Fishtrap Dam at 9:45pm for approximately 30 minutes.

Millard Fire Department and Rescue was on site with 12 volunteer firemen, the Pike County Sheriff Dept was on site with three deputies, volunteer Danny Easterling and Donna Easterling removed and cleaned all contents of firework ash and debris from the dam site and cleared the parking areas of trash.

There were approximately 2200 visitors in attendance.
