Honey Bee Display

The Civil War, Pioneer, and Outdoor Show took place at the Bulltown Historic Area.

Activities included tours of the historic area and battlefield, pioneer doll making, a Civil War weapons display, a wildlife station, a Civil War tent display, an artistin residence watercolor display, a honey bee display, live music, and the USDA Forest Service’s Snakes of West Virginia Program. Visitors got a realistic experience by interacting with staff and volunteers dressed in period correct, Civil War soldier and pioneer clothing.Interpretive Ranger Lisa Hess, SCA Hunter Simmons, and Historic Area Volunteers worked together to make this event a HUGE success!
