Keith “Dusty” Carroll has been awarded the Ron Keeling Programming Excellence Award for his work in the Huntington District.

Keith “Dusty” Carroll has been awarded the Ron Keeling Programming Excellence Award for his work in the Huntington District. The Ron Keeling Award is given annually to one individual for his or her role in the Programs and Project Management Community of Practice in the Great Lakes and Ohio Rivers Division (LRD). Mr. Keith “Dusty” Carroll is recognized for his exemplary contributions to the Civil Works Program within the Great Lakes and Ohio River Division. Mr. Carroll embodies the Army values while faithfully executing his duties and investing in others as a servant leader. With a focus on mission execution, Mr. Carroll has inspired others to develop innovative tools to revolutionize project delivery. The results of his efforts have advanced the state of art and generated notable cost savings. Mr. Carroll’s professionalism, selfless service, and performance reflect greatly upon himself, the Huntington District, and the US Army Corps of Engineers. LRD renamed the Programming Excellence Award to the “Ron Keeling Programming Excellence Award” in June 2006 to honor and recognize his contributions to the Programs field during his outstanding career. Mr. Keeling was a Civil Works Program Manager in the Huntington District for 15 years and was serving as the Chief of Programs Management when he passed away 21 September 2005. This award serves to honor those who sustain the level of outstanding Federal service that Mr. Keeling did in his career in the Civil Works Programs arena.
