Mr. Mayo embodies the essence of the Agency’s mission of delivering innovative engineering solutions to energize the economy and reduce disaster risk. During an unprecedented time marked by a global pandemic and a record-breaking program, Mr. Mayo demonstrated an unwavering commitment and selfless service to mission execution while effectively working alongside multiple teams to deliver quality results on time and within budget. Over the last two years his technical competence, sound professional judgment, and natural leadership has instilled confidence, propelled the organization forward, and influenced positive change across a diverse portfolio spanning hundreds of projects and ranging annually from $380M to $620M. Mr. Mayo’s professionalism, dedication, and commitment to investing in others reflect great credit upon himself, the Huntington District, and the United States Army Corps of Engineers.
