Joining in the Westerville, Ohio Christmas Parade on Dec. 7, 2014, Corey the Water Safety Boat and Bobber the Water Safety Dog wished all the visitors a safe and Merry Christmas.
The parade had over 2,000 adults and kids along the two-mile route. The kids listened to Corey's safety message to learn to swim and always wear your life jacket. The big attraction was Bobber dancing to the music of the dogs barking Jingle Bells!
Ranger Greg Feustel from Delaware Lake and Ranger John Wargo and Manager Bob Wattenschaidt from Alum Creek participated in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers float.
Bobber the Water Safety Dog was also on display at the Clendenin, W.Va., Christmas Parade on Dec. 13. Burnsville Lake Park Ranger Ben Coulter, Kanawha Area Interpretive Ranger Tommy Smith and Burnsville Lake volunteers passed out over 200 water safety coloring books and water cups along the parade route.
