    Colonel Secrist joins Haydee Robinson, Superintendent of Dickenson County Public Schools other federal officials, representatives of the Dickenson County School System, board of supervisors, industrial development, state, county and local officials in a ribbon cutting ceremony for Ridgeview High and Middle Schools in Dickenson County, Va. The new high school and middle school consolidates the county's schools which were once in flood prone areas into one modern, world-class facility.

  • Huntington District Changes Command

    On Friday, July 12, 2015, at the Huntington City Hall Auditorium, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Huntington District conducted a change of command ceremony. Col. Leon Parrott transferred command of the District to Col. Philip Secrist. The ceremony was presided over by Brig. Gen. Richard Kaiser, Commanding General of the Great Lakes and Ohio River Division, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
